Poonch, Jun 12 (KNO): A three-year-old girl was killed while nine others including four children sustained injuries in a road accident that took place in Saujiyan area of Poonch district.
The accident as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) took place when a Tata Sumo JK20-1646 plunged into a gorge on way from Saujiyan to Mandi, leaving ten passengers injured.
"The injured were shifted to local civil hospital where a three-year-old girl Anadhia daughter of Imtiaz Ahmed was declared brought dead," said officials.
The other nine persons who were injured in the accident are under treatment in local hospital.
The injured include four children identified as Sajad Ahmed (12), Misbah (7), Muskan Shabir (12) and Mohammad Akib (9).
Other injured persons have been identified as Shabir Ahmed (35), Razia Akhter (29), Imtiaz Ahmed (29), Tahira Begum (23) and Mohammad Shafi (35)—(KNO)
